Why use Microsoft SQL Server Replication?<\/h2>\r\n

This is a good choice for smaller databases where it is acceptable for the data to be perhaps a day old. Since Snapshot replication is copying entire tables it doesn\u2019t need to have primary keys on tables. When it\u2019s impossible to modify table structures Snapshot replication may be the best way to replicate.\r[\/et_pb_toggle][et_pb_toggle title=”Transactional Replication:” icon_color=”#3955a5″ admin_label=”Transactional Toggle” _builder_version=”3.0.51″ title_font=”|on|||”]Typically used in larger databases, this method only updates changes to data, rather than replicating it entirely every time there is an update.
